Bringing Mika to life
The client was introducing a new internal intranet platform, to respond to employee feedback and offer employees improved functionality compared to their existing platform. The aim was to re-engage employees by creating a core business communications tool that is slick, easy to use and more easily kept up-to-date.
They wanted a characterization to be part of this new platform and so, Mika was created. Working closely with the client, we came up with a few concepts including different depictions of each character showing a varied set of emotions that could fit within pages. This also included a logo with the overall target being to compliment the look and feel of the client’s brand and identity.
